Presenter Instructions

 

Dear presenter,

It is coming up, the 11th International Stress Wave Conference 2022. You have submitted a paper and are thus invited to give a presentation. This page will instruct you on how to prepare your presentation.

You have a maximum of 8/10 minutes to speak. To give everyone a chance to present, we ask you to strictly adhere to this. You prepare your presentation with the template. Look at it, it contains a number of tips. A guideline: 8 minutes speaking time means about 8 slides.

The program, including the sessions, can be found here. Per conference day, two themes will be dealt with in two sessions, usually one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Hence each day there will be two parallel sessions in addition to the central key notes.

You can check in the program in which session you are currently assigned. Please note that this can still change due to the length of the session and the final classification that will follow.

DEADLINE FOR UPLOADING THE REQUIRED MATERIAL AS PER THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS: SUNDAY SEPTEMDER 18th, 2022

Please send your presentation, clearly marked with the author’s name and title to SW2022@kivi.nl. If you want to show large files, such as a film, please send it along with the presentation.

At the conference itself, please be punctual at your presentation in order to keep up with the conference schedule, arriving at least 10 minutes before the session begins. Upon arrival, check in with your session chair. During the session the chairman will indicate when to start your presentation. Your slides will be played from our AV station. You’ll be provided with a clicker/pointer for changing slides. Please understand that we won’t be able to accommodate any last minute changes on your slides.
